Community Guidelines
Last updated November 1, 2026
- Show your gear, document your builds, share what you know.
- Follow the law. No sales, trades or transfers, ever.
- No threats, harassment or glorifying violence.
- Check your photos for serial numbers, plates and addresses before you post.
- Be yourself, not someone else.
What ArsenalBase is for
Show the firearms, knives and gear you own. Tag your mods, log your builds and range time, ask questions and help other members dial in their setups. Disagree about calibers all you like; keep it about the gear, not the person.
Keep it legal
Only post what is legal for you to own and do where you are. Don’t post content that promotes, facilitates or explains illegal activity, including:
- illegally making or converting firearms, such as machine-gun conversion devices (“auto sears” and “switches”) or unlicensed manufacturing for sale;
- getting around background checks, straw purchases or other transfer laws;
- possessing items that are illegal for you to own; and
- carrying or transporting firearms where it isn’t lawful.
Lawfully owned NFA items, legal builds and legal modifications are welcome. If you’re not sure something is legal, leave it out.
No sales, trades or transfers
ArsenalBase is a display case, not a marketplace. Don’t use it to:
- offer, request or arrange the sale, trade, gift, loan or transfer of firearms, ammunition, suppressors, regulated parts or anything else regulated;
- post prices for sale, “DM me” or “make an offer” messages, or links to listings, in posts, comments or Comms; or
- coordinate meetups to exchange regulated items.
Talking about what you paid, or where a part is in stock, is fine.
Safety and violence
- No threats of violence, against anyone, even as a joke.
- No content that praises, supports or encourages mass violence, terrorism or violent extremist groups, or that celebrates people who carried out attacks.
- No content that encourages self-harm.
- Don’t post photos or video of dangerous or reckless handling, like pointing a firearm at people.
If you see a credible threat, contact local law enforcement first, then tell us at support@arsenalbase.com.
Respect other members
- No harassment, bullying or targeted insults.
- No hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.
- Don’t pile on, encourage others to harass someone, or keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
Messages
Every rule on this page applies in Comms too, one-to-one and in groups. A private conversation isn’t a place to arrange a sale.
- Message text is checked automatically for sale talk. A message that looks like one is hidden behind a notice for the people you sent it to, and flagged for us to review.
- Don’t keep messaging someone who hasn’t accepted your request or who has asked you to stop. Don’t add people to groups to get around a block or a declined request.
- Don’t share someone’s messages or photos from a conversation elsewhere on ArsenalBase without their permission.
- Messages aren’t end-to-end encrypted. We read them only when they’re reported or flagged, to keep members safe, or when the law requires it (see our Privacy Policy).
Protect privacy, yours and others’
- Don’t post anyone else’s personal information: home address, phone number, email, workplace, license numbers or private photos.
- Check your photos before you post. Blur serial numbers, license plates, addresses, documents and faces of people who didn’t agree to be shown. Our automated serial number check helps, but it can miss things.
- Don’t post photos that identify minors.
- Don’t share content from another member’s private vault outside it.
Be yourself
- Don’t impersonate a person, brand, retailer or ArsenalBase.
- Only link social accounts and websites that are yours.
- Don’t run fake or duplicate accounts, buy or trade followers, likes or reposts, or game trending.
- Don’t post spam or the same content over and over.
Content that doesn’t belong
- No sexual content or nudity.
- No graphic gore, including real injuries or dead people.
- No malware, phishing or links meant to trick people.
- Hunting photos are fine. Keep them respectful and leave out graphic wounds and gore.
Brands, retailers and promotion
Show and talk about the products you use. Don’t post unsolicited advertising, affiliate spam or repeated promotion for a business. Brands and retailers who want to work with ArsenalBase can reach us at legal@arsenalbase.com.
Respect creators
Post photos you took or have permission to use. If you believe your work has been posted without permission, see our Copyright Policy.
Reporting
- In Comms, report a message from its menu, or a person or group from the conversation’s details. The person you report isn’t told who reported them.
- Everywhere else, report a post, comment, firearm, review, question or answer from its menu or flag, and a member from their Vault’s menu. Pick a reason and add a note if it helps. What you report is hidden for you straight away, and the member isn’t told who reported it. When several members report the same post or comment, it’s hidden from everyone until we review it. You can also email support@arsenalbase.com with a link and a short description.
- Blocking. You can block anyone from their Vault’s menu or in Comms. While you’re signed in, they can’t message you one-to-one, add you to a group, or see your Vault, posts, comments or likes. In a group you’re both already in, you both stay, and their messages are collapsed for you. Like anyone, they can still see your public pages while signed out.
We review every report, and you’ll get an alert when we act on one you sent. Posts, comments, reviews and Q&A are also checked automatically for language and sale terms that may break these rules; a match is flagged for our review, not removed.
What happens when the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, and whether it has happened before, we may:
- remove the content;
- ask you to edit it, or limit some features for a while;
- suspend or permanently close the account; and
- report it to law enforcement when the law requires it or someone may be in danger.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or email support@arsenalbase.com and we’ll take another look.
