Affiliate Disclosure

ArsenalBase is free to use. To help keep it that way, some links to retailers on ArsenalBase are, or will be, affiliate links. Makers can also send us products to review. This page explains both, in line with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements.

How affiliate links work

When you follow an affiliate link and buy something, the retailer may pay ArsenalBase a small commission. You don’t pay anything extra, and the price is the same as going to the retailer directly.

Where you’ll see them

Retailer links, such as the Shop buttons on mods and product links, are rolling out. Any link that may earn ArsenalBase a commission is treated as an affiliate link. Links that members add themselves, like their own websites and social accounts, are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.

What they never change

  • Commissions never decide what appears in the catalog, how firearms or mods are ranked, or what shows up as trending.
  • Members’ Vaults, posts and recommendations are their own, not paid placements.
  • ArsenalBase doesn’t sell firearms or anything else. Purchases are between you and the retailer, under their terms and the law where you live. See our Terms of Service.

Products sent to us for review

Makers can send us products to review. We don’t accept payment for reviews. When we review a product a maker sent us, we highlight that review on the product’s page, clearly labeled as an item sent to us for review.

Sending a product never changes our opinion of it, how it ranks, its scores, or what the review says. A review of a product sent to us is held to the same standard as any other: we use the product, then say what we think, good or bad.
